Before you pay a parts vendor: keep the checks simple
Confirm the seller, the item and the agreement before sending money.

In this guide
An urgent repair can make an attractive offer feel like a decision that must be made immediately. Pause long enough to establish who is selling, what is being supplied and how you will inspect or receive it.
Check before committing
- Confirm the business and contact details using a route you trust.
- Ask for the actual item, condition, current availability and agreed terms.
- Where possible, inspect before paying, especially with an unfamiliar seller.
- Keep the quote, receipt and messages in your own records.
Treat unexpected changes cautiously
Ghana's Cyber Security Authority has warned about fake online sellers taking upfront payments and disappearing. A changed payment recipient or pressure to pay immediately deserves verification, not an automatic transfer. MyFita does not operate escrow, collect payment for the part or guarantee reimbursement. Never share an OTP or mobile-money PIN with a seller.
