Quick answers
Browsing & finding parts
Can I browse without signing in?
Yes. Public listings can be searched and viewed without an account. Sign in when prompted for account features such as saved parts, requests and contact interactions.
Does a match mean the part will fit?
No. Search filters and request matches help you find candidates. Confirm the exact variant, condition and compatibility with the vendor and a qualified mechanic before buying.
Why are there no results?
Try a shorter part name or remove a restrictive filter. If you still cannot find a suitable listing, send a part request with the details you know. A zero-result search does not establish that no vendor has the item.
What does a verified vendor profile mean?
It identifies a vendor with an approved profile status. It is not a guarantee of a particular part's authenticity, condition, fitment, availability or the outcome of a sale.
Accounts & access
The verification code will not send. What should I check?
Check the phone format and complete the displayed security check. If the security check does not appear, refresh or try again on a stable connection. If the error continues, contact support with the page and error message—not your code.
The code has not arrived. What next?
Confirm that you entered the number you can access and check mobile signal. Follow the resend control when it becomes available. Avoid repeated rapid requests. MyFita does not promise an exact delivery time.
Can I change my name or buyer type?
Yes. Buyer Account → Edit profile lets you update your name and choose Car Owner, Mechanic / Workshop or Fleet Operator. It does not change your phone number or switch you into a vendor account.
Do I need a Play Store app?
No. Use the website directly. Download app in the footer offers a website shortcut or installation instructions where the browser supports them. It is not a Play Store download and does not promise offline access.
How do I change my phone number or close my account?
Contact support for the appropriate account process. Do not create a duplicate account to work around an access problem. See the Privacy Policy for information-handling details.
Selling & notifications
When does a new listing become visible?
Complete the form and check the submission result and Inventory status. A submitted item may need review; this page does not promise immediate publication or a review deadline.
Are listing drafts saved?
New-listing form details are not saved as a draft if you leave. Photos upload when selected, but the listing is submitted only with the final action. Prepare your photos and information before starting.
Do notification switches enable WhatsApp alerts?
Not yet. Vendor Settings & Notifications currently saves device-only choices; these do not control delivery. Use the dashboard and its notification panel for the activity available in your account.
Do contact actions mean sales?
No. A contact click, map view, saved listing or part request is an indication of interest, not a verified purchase or revenue figure.
Payment, problems & safety
Does MyFita take payment or arrange delivery?
The final purchase is arranged directly between buyer and vendor. MyFita does not provide checkout, escrow or a managed delivery service. Confirm the item, seller, terms and collection arrangements before committing.
The part is wrong or faulty. What should I do?
Contact the vendor with the listing reference, receipt and relevant photos. You can also report the issue to MyFita support. Support can review a platform concern; a refund, replacement or dispute outcome is not guaranteed here.
How do I report a misleading listing?
Open the listing and use Report this listing, signing in if prompted. Describe the concern accurately. You can also contact support with the listing link and evidence; avoid sending unrelated personal documents.
What should I never share?
Never give someone your OTP, password or mobile-money PIN. Use verification codes only in the sign-in process you initiated. Keep your own record of seller conversations and receipts; MyFita does not record the full off-platform agreement.
Still need a hand?
Tell us what you were trying to do, the page you were on and the error you saw. Include a listing link when relevant.
Share the problem, not your secrets
Do not send an OTP, password or payment PIN. Crop unrelated personal information from screenshots. Keep purchase agreements and receipts in your own records.
