Three quotes, one fair comparison: a buyer's checklist

Compare equivalent offers before deciding that one price is better.

In this guide

A quote for a complete assembly cannot be compared directly with one for a bare component. The same is true of different manufacturers, conditions or quantities. Put the offers beside each other before choosing.

Compare the same fields

  • Exact part reference and compatible vehicle variant.
  • Brand or manufacturer, condition and quantity.
  • What is included: brackets, connectors, fittings or other components.
  • Current price, collection cost and any seller-provided warranty or return terms.

Ask about the gaps

If one quote omits a detail, ask rather than filling it in yourself. Record when the seller confirmed the quote and check again before collection if time has passed. MyFita does not set prices or guarantee seller warranties. The point of comparison is to make the differences visible, not to declare the lowest price the best option.

Put the guide into practice

Use accurate details, ask about anything uncertain and confirm the final arrangement directly with the seller.
