A useful first reply to a parts enquiry
Help buyers confirm the part, price and collection details.

In this guide
A short reply can still be complete. The buyer needs to know whether you understood the component, whether the item is available and what to confirm next. Avoid saying 'yes, come' when the vehicle details are not yet clear.
Cover the essentials
- Repeat the part and vehicle details you are confirming.
- State current availability, condition and the quoted price or what you need to price it.
- Ask for a part number or photo if compatibility remains uncertain.
- Confirm your shop location and a suitable collection time.
Use a response you can stand behind
For example: 'I have this item in used condition. Please send the part number so we can compare the variant before you come.' Do not promise fitment, delivery or a warranty unless you can provide what you describe. Record the agreement in your own messages and receipt. Contact activity in MyFita shows interest, not a verified purchase.
Put the guide into practice
Use accurate details, ask about anything uncertain and confirm the final arrangement directly with the seller.
